Afterlife Antiques is an antique store in Pickering, England. Alice Grayson is the proprietor in the first two books before Naiyana Mathers takes over in "Living Timekeepers".
Afterlife is where David Pierson first meets Alice in Chapter 11 of Volume One, "Serch Bythol".
The store sells everything from furniture to knick knacks and is chock-full of a myriad of vintage items from the Victorian, Edwardian and Georgian eras. The aesthetic harmony in which the items coexisted impressed David.
The enchanted antique store is symbolic in the story as a place where all eras exist as one.
